Hello National Capital Swing Dancers!!!
There is more information for you all regarding that *SUPER AMAZING* swing dance at the Canadian War Museum tomorrow afternoon! :-) There are 50 free spots for people, and the spots are filling up fast! Just make sure that you all assemble at "Atelier C" at 12.30 noon so that I can get you in - and the first 50 get in for free! (Preference will be made for those who contacted me already or put their name on the list at the OSDS.) If more than 50 show up, you can still come of course! It will just cost regular museum admission.
Admission: For students & seniors is $10, and $12 for everyone else. Still, not a bad deal! ;-)

What band is playing again?: The Impressions in Jazz Orchestra will be playing in the LeBreton Gallery! This is a band to be heard & dance to!
When?: Saturday, May 8th
Time?: The dance starts at 1pm to 2.45pm
****Please show up at 12.30pm for free admission. After 12.45 it will not be free****
Refreshments?: Bottled water is provided for free
Special Note about choice of clothing: If you really want to dress up in vintage clothing, I will strongly suggest that you choose civilian vintage clothing for this. :-) Since there will be Second War veterans, and current serving military people present in the building, I would notrecommend that old military uniforms be worn. Civilian clothing (vintage or not) will be best and more comfortable. If you have any questions about this, please-please feel free to ask me. :-)
....And don't forget about swing dancing at the Ottawa Swing Dance Society is tonight at All Saint's! ;-) Cost: $5 for free lesson & swing dance for the rest of the night! For more information please go to www.swingottawa.ca for more details!
