Join us at our regular Friday night dance at All Saint's Church, 317 Chapel St., corner of Laurier., from 8:30 to 12:30. ($5, including a 1 hour introduction to swing dancing). Oh! and bring an extra pair of clean, indoor shoes.

We are holding our 11th anniversary dance, featuring Tyler Yarema Band from Toronto, at All Saints Church on Nov 12
th, 2010. Following the main dance, there will also be a late night, the location of which is... we're staying at the church.
The schedule of events will follow the traditional schedule that you are familiar with. The lesson will start at 8:30pm and end at 9:30pm, at which time the main dance will commence and last until 12:30am. The late night dance will commence at 1:00am thereafter, and end at 4:00am.
Ticket prices are as follows:

Hello Swing Dancers!
On Wednesday September 8 Patricia Tshikudi, of The Rivard Productions production company, will be filming at Maxwell's on Elgin Street. Patricia has contacted OSDS to ask for our participation by
Lindy bombing the dance floor at a certain time during the night. This has all the makings of a fun time... and a great way to showcase Swing dancing in Ottawa. So please come out if you can this Wednesday night and be ready to dance.
Come join the dancing craze at the Cumberland Museum August 8th. Watch and participate in some traditional dancing from local groups including the OSDS.

EMC Entertainment - Don't forget to bring your dancing shoes to the first Concerts by Candlelight evening of the summer at Billings Estate National Historic Site!
On Friday, July 9, visitors are invited to spend an evening under the stars and enjoy the music that once filled the Billings' family home in the early 1800s.
It will be music to your ears as the Impressions in Jazz Orchestra strings together an unforgettable performance, presenting the history of swing dance music from the 1920s to 50s.

Alana has arranged to record Ottawa's video tomorrow on Parliament Hill ! So, please go and join the group of Ottawa dancers in front of the Eternal Flames THIS Sunday at 2:45! This will not take longer than 1 hour, and the wather it supposed to be gorgeous tomorrow!
